 As a fever cough and shortness of breath it later updated that list to include things like headaches chills and the big one loss of taste or smell but the delta variant seems to be impacting more young people since a lower percentage of them are vaccinated compared to other populations and with these virus mutations comes changes to its effects the symptoms.


 They're having now are more like a bad cold it's a headache it's a stuffy congested runny nose and it may not be severe symptoms a lot of people just say they don't feel well or they feel kind of off but they're not having the classic cough they're not having the loss of taste and smell and they may not have a fever so get checked keep other people around you safe the delta variant now accounts for 99 percent of new coronavirus cases in the u.k the world health organization says a special team is being set up to see how effective the authorized vaccines are against the strain it is looking good so far pfizer and moderna have said their vaccines are effective.
